A new coalition, called Tomorrow Together, has launched a new initiative to encourage unity, empathy, and service each year on September 11th.  Activities for 9/11 this year include: a special opportunity for families to win a trip to NYC to visit the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, along with other prizes from Scholastic and gift cards offered by Target (and also a chance for teachers to win $200 for their next school field trip); new lesson plans for educators, parents and youth mentors to teach children about empathy and service; and a new 911day.org with volunteer opportunities through All For Good and Volunteer Match.
