Your organization has a secret weapon! The individuals currently and formerly serving in National Service programs through AmeriCorps State, AmeriCorps VISTA, and Senior Corps are making a real impact. Whether it's the AmeriCorps member tutoring elementary school students with their reading skills, the Senior Companion giving hope to other seniors experiencing tough times, or a Alum of National Service who is going above and beyond at your place of business -- there's no doubt you have seen firsthand what a difference these individuals can make.
One individual will be honored in each of the following categories:
- AmeriCorps State Member of the Year (Robert E. Wone Award)
- AmeriCorps VISTA Member of the Year
- Foster Grandparent of the Year
- Senior Companion of the Year
- Retired and Senior Volunteer of the Year
- National Service Alum of the Year
