The Richmond area Habitat for Humanity is in need of volunteers for the following projects in October! Is your organization looking for a way for your group to serve? Are you or your family looking for volunteer opportunities? There's something for everyone!
Habitat needs folks with carpentry skills to help us with cutting Project Playhouse kits on Monday, 10/11 and Tuesday, 10/12. Individuals definitely need to be comfortable with reading cut sheets and using power tools. Email wguthrie@richmondhabitat.org if you can help out!
Habitat is looking for a few more event volunteers to help with set up/clean up and running tables of supplies for volunteers. The set up time is 7am-8:30am. The event is 8:30am-2pm both days. Email me with any questions or if you want to help out (wguthrie@richmondhabitat.org ).
Habitat is hosting and benefiting from a Halloween themed Cornhole Tournament and is still looking for teams to participate. Prizes will be awarded for cornhole champs and costumes. https://rvahalloweencornhole.eventbrite.com
Both ReStores are looking for volunteers to help with processing, organizing and cleaning. They have two shift options every Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm and 1pm-5pm. The Richmond ReStore is also looking for more teams and groups to help out in the store.
Some new dates and sites have been posted for this month on 5th Ave Rehab and 3rd Ave Rehab. There are also still some spots on the State Street project.
