Plans are underway for the 2019 Virginia Conference on Refugee Resettlement: Weaving a Network of Services for Virginia’s Newcomers, July 25-26, at Delta Hotels Richmond Downtown by Marriott. The conference will offer workshops and interactive training sessions led by experts in the fields of employment, mental health, health and other disciplines relative to successful refugee integration into communities throughout Virginia. There is no cost to attend for a maximum of 200 attendees. The conference will provide important information for anyone interested in the successful resettlement of refugees and their families. The event is is being hosted by the Virginia Department of Social Services - Office of Newcomer Services, in partnership with the Virginia Department of Health- Newcomer Health Program and the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services - Office of Behavioral Health Wellness.
