Online registration is now open for 2018 Virginia Volunteerism and Service Conference, May 21-22, 2018, at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Richmond - Midlothian. The annual conference is one of the largest gatherings of nonprofit and service organizations in the Commonwealth. The event, presented by the VDSS Office on Volunteerism and Community Services and the Virginia Service Foundation, will offer more than 30 workshops and interactive training sessions on Capacity Building, Volunteer Management, and Personal/Professional Development.
Each year, the Virginia Volunteerism Conference also presents several dynamic and exciting keynote speakers, as well as offers numerous opportunities to build upon existing networks to form collaborations and partnerships. Several hands-on service projects benefiting organizations serving Virginia communities will also be available to attendees.
The conference is open to the public and is ideal for volunteer service leaders, nonprofit executives, faith-based organization leaders, and government agency personnel. Registration includes a networking reception, two breakfasts, two lunches, and two full days of workshops (30+ total). General Early Bird Registration is $140 person (through February 15, 2018).
