Virginia Department of Social Services home office staff joined together to volunteer for Richmond Public Schools (RPS) at two locations on Friday, March 3rd. More than 20 staff members served at the RPS Teacher Supply Store  and the the McKinney Vento Center which serves homeless public school students and families. One team sorted school supplies and organized store shelves at the Teacher Supply Store where RPS teachers have the opportunity to shop for their classes once a month. The other team sorted donated clothing items at the McKinney Vento Center. DSS home office staff participate once a quarter and at various other service events throughout the year. Nice job DSS Team!
