Earlier this month, Serve Virginia hosted a statewide AmeriCorps Convening to welcome new incoming AmeriCorps program staff, provide networking opportunities with staff from continuing AmeriCorps programs, and share resources and training to help support all AmeriCorps program staff in the new program year.

The official announcement of the 2024-2025 AmeriCorps programs in Virginia is coming soon but thank you to everyone who joined us for this fun event, held at Maymont in Richmond!

In addition, AmeriCorps VISTA members took part in a hands-on day of training, complete with creative self-expression, a resume workshop and career panel, and so much more.
