Analise has joined the Virginia Office on Volunteerism (OVCS) team as an AmeriCorps Program Officer. She comes to OVCS from Shalom Farms, a Richmond area nonprofit that focuses on increasing access to healthy food. Through her work to cultivate healthier communities, she led programs designed to make healthy options more affordable for families experiencing food insecurity. Analise has a bachelor’s degree in Human Development from Virginia Tech and a Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Virginia Commonwealth University. She has a strong background and interest in performance measurement, evaluation, and data collection. She is also a former AmeriCorps Alum! Analise completed her term of service at Virginia Tech in 2010-2011, working with VT Engage and the Raft Crisis Hotline in Blacksburg. In her spare time, she loves supporting local farmers markets and spending time with friends.
