Since 2001, CVP Windows and Doors has gone above and beyond in addressing Virginia’s critical need for affordable housing. Partnering with Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg since 2021, CVP Windows and Doors has donated and installed windows, exterior doors, and patio sliders for over 20 homes. By contributing both materials and skilled labor, CVP Windows and Doors significantly reduces construction costs, enabling more families to achieve the stability, independence, and generational opportunity that homeownership provides.
CVP Windows and Doors’ commitment extends beyond construction. Team members volunteer year-round with the Grove Christian Outreach Center, supporting food drives, summer lunch programs, back-to-school initiatives, and holiday food distributions. Their hands-on participation ensures that children and families in need receive consistent support well beyond the build site.
Owners Barry Taylor and Michael Davenport lead by example, instilling a culture of integrity, service, and local investment throughout the company. Their philosophy, “We live here. We build here. We want to be involved here,” guides CVP Windows and Doors’ transformational approach to community service. By donating both labor and materials, CVP Windows and Doors demonstrates how a business can leverage expertise to make a lasting impact.
Through their work, CVP Windows and Doors strengthens families, nourishes children, and builds resilient communities. Their unique combination of skilled trade service, sustained volunteer engagement, and corporate citizenship exemplifies how one company’s dedication can create meaningful, enduring change across the Commonwealth.
